About the Mount Fuji Fundraising Event

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Winn started to make use of sports events, such as e-cycling, to fundraise for underprivileged children.
The mountain climbing period of the Mount Fuji is only open to the public from July to September. Winn will start climbing from the Mt. Fuji 5th station center, and reach the top within 2-day.
All the donation amount will go to DADs Network's project for underprivileged children programs in Hong Kong, including 1 to 1 mentorship program, coaching training, target saving scheme to achieve children's dreams and skills training.
"Child Development Fund"(CDF) was established by HKSAR Government to be a solution of intergenerational poverty. DADs Network is fundraising for every participated underprivileged children in the project, and teaching them skills and applying their career plan through the 3-year project. Your donation will become a 1>3 matching fund, every $100 donation from you, will become $300 through CDF's support. All the donation will be only used for achieving children's dream, and without any administration fee.

(All the expense, including air ticket, will be by Winn Tam.)

About About DADs Network

Founded in 2015, DADs Network is a non-profit making organization based in Hong Kong. With an aim to promote the critical importance of the father’s role in the family, we are dedicated to fostering an active fathering culture by offering dads multifaceted support which includes organizing talks, training and parent-child campaigns, and providing a rich source of information.

About Winn Tam

Winn Tam (Director of DADs Network, a charity organization in HK) is a family educator and youth mentor in Hong Kong for a decade. He loves nurturing teens to assist them catching their dreams. Underprivileged family children's challenges, such as lack of resources, which limit their vision. Winn had been a mentor for above 100 youth in HK by providing free coaching and training services with local cross-sectoral partners.

About The Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji (富士山), located on the island of Honshū, is the highest mountain in Japan, with a summit elevation of 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft 3 in). It is the second-highest volcano located on an island in Asia (after Mount Kerinci on the island of Sumatra), and seventh-highest peak of an island on Earth. Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708. The mountain is located about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo and is visible from there on clear days. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is covered in snow for about five months of the year, is commonly used as a cultural icon of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photography, as well as visited by sightseers, hikers and mountain climbers.
