Eco-Race is funded by the Government's Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF), organized by DADs Network and affiliated by MOPC as technical support. The race aims to promote the message of environmentally friendly and the "carbon footprint" issues. We look forward to gathering families, students and orienteering enthusiasts who love sports and outdoor activities to compete in city orienteering in different classes. We expect participants to practice a low-carbon lifestyle by competing by-foot, and enhance relationships among families through exercise and exploring the communities.
【ECO-Race】Orienteering Competition
Event details
Date: November 25, 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 10:00 - 17:00
Event Locations: Lok Fu and Wong Tai Sin, Hong Kong
Assembly Point: Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre
Competition Format: Urban Orienteering (Foot Orienteering)
Teams must use the orienteering map provided by the organizer to plan their own routes and visit as many checkpoints as possible to earn ECO-points. They must return to the finish line within the specified time. Team with the highest ECO-points and shortest completion time will be the winner.

Awards and Prizes:
Each group has a champion, runner-up, and third runner-up including trophies and prizes. In the Challenge group, a champion, runner-up, and third runner-up for men’s, women’s, and mixed teams including trophies and prizes. Winning teams will receive trophies, generous prizes, and sports brand vouchers. No prizes will be given in the CATI.
